Let’s pretend you are shopping for quotes from the Yellow Pages to have some yard work done. Both quotes come back equal, with one from yardguy@hotmail.com and the other from joe@yardguy.com Which one are you going to choose? Exactly!
For an example here, let’s use a business without any start-up capital. This person wants to only invest a tiny amount of their personal money to see if this is a worthwhile venture. Fair enough and completely understandable in some situations. In my honest opinion, the very least that should be done, is to own the business domain name. Once the domain is owned, there is the option to set up the domain email. Easy enough!
Now don’t panic if you are used to using a certain email system, chances are you can filter/and or and forward your new address through your existing system. I use Gmail as my personal base and forward all my business stuff through it. Extra bonus, I set it up so anything with my business email extension has a “kickify” label attached to it to.
At Kickify, I pride myself on doing everything in my power to help each client put their best on-line foot forward. Contact greta@kcikify.com today to guide you into on-line professionalism.
